A few years ago, I had the privilege of listing a beautiful home in Beverly Hills. By listening more than talking, I earned the trust of the owners and we collaborated on a plan to sell the property in a way that best suited their needs and concerns.
Thanks to smart pricing and marketing, we received multiple offers and I was able to negotiate a deal my clients were thrilled with. Throughout the transaction, I treated the buyer, who was represented by another agent, with the same honest respect I gave the sellers. However, when the buyer threatened to cancel the sale unless he received a huge repair credit, I held firm on behalf of my clients and was able to successfully close escrow without conceding a single dollar.
Years passed. Then a few months ago, I received an unexpected phone call from the buyer who had purchased the home.
