What do you think about ‘the neighborhood expert’? Is that the person you go to if you’re buying or selling a property? Personally, I think the ‘neighborhood expert’ idea is antiquated. With technology the way it is now, it’s easy to get the information you need down to the finest detail, to be able to decide how best to sell a house and how best to buy a property. So when you’re choosing an agent, don’t go for the person who happens to have sold a bunch of properties in an area. That alone doesn’t give someone the expertise you’re looking for. Choose someone who knows how to collect the data and most importantly how to interpret the data, so as to most effectively represent your interests when you’re ready to buy or sell a home.
